Chi Nei Tsang Massage

Chi Nei Tsang is a traditional Taoist abdominal massage that gently loosens internal organs and harmonizes energy. It works with deep, mindful touches in the abdominal area to release blockages and promote energy flow. This technique supports digestion, detoxification, and emotional balance.

Deep abdominal massage for well-being and inner balance

Chi Nei Tsang is a gentle but effective form of massage from the Taoist healing tradition of China. The name translates as “nurturing the internal organs” and describes the core of this method: through mindful, deep touch in the abdominal area, tension is released, the organs are relaxed, and the flow of energy in the body is harmonized. Our abdomen is often referred to as the “second brain” – it is home not only to important organs, but also to many nerve pathways and emotional memories. Stress, poor nutrition, or unresolved emotions can cause tension and blockages to build up in this area. Chi Nei Tsang helps to gently release these and regenerate the body from within. During a treatment, you lie relaxed on a couch. I work on your abdominal area with targeted, circular, and pressing movements, always in harmony with your breathing rhythm. This can induce a feeling of deep relaxation, inner lightness, and increased energy.

Possible effects of Chi Nei Tsang:

  • Improves digestion and detoxification
  • Relieves physical and emotional tension
  • Strengthens the immune system
  • Promotes inner peace and balance
  • Supports the flow of energy (Qi) throughout the body

Chi Nei Tsang is suitable for people of all ages and can be used both preventively and in conjunction with other health and relaxation methods. The treatment is gentle, mindful, and always tailored to your individual needs. Treat yourself to this special form of self-care and experience how your stomach—and with it your entire well-being—can relax.

1-year training program

The gut! The organ we value the least—obesity, burnout, skin problems—everyday complaints whose connection to the gut flora is becoming more obvious every day. We feel good, live longer, happier, and healthier only when we take care of our intestines and keep them in balance. I am pleased to introduce you to Chi Nei Tsang (abdominal) massage in the form of training to become a CNT Practitioner according to Mantak Chia. The focus is on the gut as well as all the organs connected to and influenced by it. Chi Nei Tsang is a special form of massage based on traditional Chinese medicine, Taoism, and medical Qigong. Anatomy plays just as important a role as focus and mindfulness on the organs and energy circuits involved.

The training is suitable for therapists, alternative practitioners (general or psychotherapy), massage therapists of any discipline, or individuals with a particular affinity for massage. The course schedule is based on the curriculum of Grand Master Mantak Chia and runs over 10 weekends with theory followed by intensive practice. The training therefore places a strong focus on the practice of massage techniques and meditation as well as medical theory and anatomy.
